Philip Gerard Gentle, Limefield Road, Craigavon, was also put on probation for 18 months for pursuing a course of conduct which amounted to harassment between September 2013 and July 3 this year.
The court heard that the injured party reported on July 3 that the defendant was causing a disturbance outside her home.

Hide AdShe alleged there had been harassment by the defendant since late 2013 and police had warned Gentle about his behaviour.
On a later occasion there was further contact by the defendant and he was given a final warning by police.
The court was asked to consider a restraining order on behalf of the injured party.
A solicitor for Gentle said he had been in a relationship with the injured party for a number of years and he was unable to see his daughter.

Hide AdHe added that he saw the injured party coming out of a house and he went over to talk to his daughter.
The injured party got into a car and drove off and he followed just to try and talk to his daughter.
The solicitor said Gentle had spent 27 days in custody and this gave him the space to look at the matter with a cool head. He had instructed a solicitor to go through the proper channels.
