Seacourt man Stephen rewarded for ‘Doing the Right Thing’
The ‘Doing the Right Thing’ initiative, spearheaded by Larne Borough Council, aims to encourage civic pride in the community by offering monetary incentives.
Those who are identified putting litter in the bin or scooping up dog fouling are entered into a prize draw, with a chance to win a £50 voucher.

Mr Strong received his winning ticket when the council’s assistant environmental warden saw him cleaning up after his dog had fouled on the footpath.
Last Thursday, he was presented with £50 voucher by Larne Mayor Martin Wilson, which can be spent in a number of local shops.
Cllr Wilson thanked Larne Traders Forum and said: “The council is delighted to have the support of local business from the Traders Forum and for their funding of the prize draw.
