Two charged after police car chase ends in crash
The car was first seen by police on the Ligoniel Road in north Belfast at about 4:30 on Thursday.
It hit a police car on the Thornberry Road in the city before driving off.

Hide AdA police helicopter was used to track the vehicle to Lurgan where it crashed into two vehicles on the Silverwood Road.
Police said a 29-year-old man has been charged with two counts of aggravated vehicle taking, three counts of dangerous driving, driving whilst disqualified, two counts of failing to remain where accident occurred causing damage, two counts of failing to report where accident occurred causing damage, two counts of failing to stop where accident occurred causing damage, and using a motor vehicle without insurance.
A 26 year old man has been charged with allowing himself to be carried and failing to wear a seatbelt.
They are both expected to appear before Craigavon Magistrates Court later this morning, Friday 28 August.

Hide Ad“As is normal procedure all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service,” said a PSNI spokesperson.
A 15-year-old male has been released pending a report to the Public Prosecution Service.
