Bann Juniors sink Foyle in Fred Daly
Banbridge won the away leg 3-2 and then won at home 3.5 – 1.5.
That gave our local lads victory by the impressive score of 6.5 – 3.5.
The same boys played each other in both rounds.

Hide AdJosh Crory (6) lost two down away against Caolan Dunn (4) but got a valuable half match at home.
Rory McMullan (6) did the double against Darragh Glynn (5). He won two up away and two up at home. That was very impressive.
Jamie Thompson (6) beat Robert Coyle (7) five and four away and he too did the double by winning two up at home. That was powerful golf from Jamie.
Luke Crory (7) got a double he did not want. He lost three and two against Conor McNally (10) away at Foyle and lost again at home two and one.

Hide AdJack McKerr (9) was in top form in both legs. He beat Tony Harkin (11) away by five and four and he beat the same player two up at home.
It was a brilliant result from this young team. They will now play either Ballymena or Buncrana in round two.
Nigel Bryson is very excited and so he should be.
