Boxing: O’Kane aiming for World title shot
The talented middleweight knows that if he gets another win on his record, his dream of fighting for a World title will still be within his grasp.
O’Kane - now training in England under Paddy Fitzpatrick - holds the IBF Inter-contiental title and he believes he is close to getting a shot at a World title.

Hide Ad“IBF Champion Jermain Taylor is in trouble with the police, so his belt could be up for grabs. I am highly ranked by the IBF - so I would love a shot at that title.
“It is every fighters dream to fight for and win a World title and I am no different.
“I just know I have to win o February 13 to keep myself high on the IBF rankings,” he stated.
And O’Kane says training under Fitzpatrick has improved his game.
