After last week’s disappointing result against Valley Rangers, Banbridge YCOB were back to league duties away to Lisburn outfit Southside and managed to come away with the three points.

YCOB went into the game without the services of their talisman Stevie McArdle and winger Paul Walsh.

McCourt couldn’t of hoped for a better start when inside the first three minutes YCOB were awarded a penalty which the confident Gartland slotted home.

The rest of the first half was all one way traffic, with YCOB creating chance after chance through the intelligent passing of Drainey and the hold up play of Rooney.

It wasn’t until the second half though, that YCOB got their second goal through another penalty from Gartland.
