Bunting bags winning penalty for Hanover cup joy
Bunting and Stephen Woods opted to step into coaching roles at the start of the season alongside manager James Reid and a look at the statistics confirms the impact enjoyed by the revamped panel.
“The players have been excellent but, on a personal level, I am also grateful to Dean and Stephen for coming on board,” said Reid. “It was a nice touch that Dean got the winning penalty but credit also to goalkeeper Nathan White for making a key save in the shoot-out against Silverwood United.

“We reached the O’Hara Cup semi-finals last season and seventh in the league but won this year’s trophy then secured fourth on Saturday, so that confirms the progress thanks to everyone.
“We dedicated the trophy win to the memory of Mickey Moore, a great supporter of Portadown but also Hanover.”
