Donacloney Reserves pick up an important win over Town’s thirds
The inclusion of Steven Leckey was a big boost for the ‘Cloney with last season’s Reserve team top Goalscorer Paul Stevenson currently out injured.
Leckey proved his worth, racing through on goal and making no mistake to make it 1-0.

Donacloney took the foot off the pedal and the youthful Banbridge side levelled the scores at 2-2, firstly with a penalty kick and the second a simple finish from a right side cross.
Steven Leckey got behind the Banbridge defence and scored his second of the game before Johnny Brown added the fourth to restore the two goal lead and seal the win.
Excluding their two goals, the Donacloney back four restricted Banbridge to mainly long range efforts, and anything ‘keeper Elliot Gibson had to do he dealt with comfortably.
