Great chance to win three on the bounce
The Blues entertain Ards on Saturday in a game switched to Mourneview Park due to Ballyclare’s Steel and Sons Cup tie against Ballynahinch at Dixon Park.
Glenavon therefore have three successive home games, although the third of those marks the beginning of a daunting four league-match run against Cliftonville, Crusaders, Linfield and Portadown.

Hide AdHamilton is keen for his side to pick up another win this weekend to ensure the Blues go into that tough run in top form.
He said: “If we put in another good performance and can get another three points that would be three wins on the bounce and could have a very positive effect on us going into a run of games against the top sides.
“It could also work the other way. If we get beaten at home that halts our momentum a bit going into those games so we’ll have to make sure it’s the other way.
“We need to win as many games as we can against teams that will likely be in the bottom half of the table at the end of the season.”

Hide AdHamilton said he doesn’t want to change the starting eleven to accommodate the returning Shane McCabe.
He said: “If I can, I’ll be starting with the same as last week. Shane had been doing well for us but he missed the game and that’s the way it works – he’ll not come back in automatically. He’s a good option to have to bring on from the bench.”
