INSTITUTE: Jamie Dunne leaves Drumahoe men
While the 19-year-old hasn’t featured that much in the first few games of the season; Stute’s campaign is only five matches old, so his decision to get released has baffled manager Kevin Deery.
“Jamie has decided to leave the club and his release forms have been signed,” confirmed Deery.

“ I keep telling everyone that I feel we need a bigger squad this season, but unfortunately he decided to ask to leave and it was a mutual agreement between the club and him.
“I couldn’t tell him that he was going to be play so many games or he was going to play every week.
“It’s difficult as a manager whenever you pick teams and you believe in the team you pick each week.

Deery concedes that with the transfer window closing this evening he’s desperate to add at least one more player to the squad.
“While I think we still have enough in wide areas and that isn’t my primary focus I feel we probably need another body now, that can be a wee bit versatile, who can cover in a couple of different areas but we’ll wait and see.”
