Larne cruise through in Steel Cup
Larne had huffed and puffed during the opening half looking almost too anxious at times.
Gerard Gillan somehow fired wide from close in on 19 minutes then Stuart McMullan had a free header from Thomas Robinson’s corner but sent it over.

It was one way traffic after the restart. Another Robinson corner was bundled in by James McCabe on 48 minutes. Within a minute Ross Davison doubled the lead with a contender for goal of the season, firing home a rocket from 40 yards.
The home side failed to deal with another corner on 52 minutes allowing Darren McNamee to apply a clinical finish at the back post. Number four came courtesy of Paul Maguire which was followed by another from the captain.
Matty Rooney left three defenders in this wake as he fired home the sixth 10 minutes from time. Maguire completed his hat-trick on 87 minutes before Adam McDonald’s shot earned a consolation for Dromara.
