The ex-Celtic manager also admitted that the Parkhead men should tried their best to keep the Northern Ireland international.

Strachan made the comments ahead of his Scotland facing up against McCourt in a friendly game next week.
As for McCourt he isn’t worried about the future.
“I haven’t thought about what will happen at the end of the season, it’s not something I’ve given any focus,” he admitted.
“I’ve just come here to get games and whatever happens at the end of the season will happen.”
