Wakehurst manager targets safety, then summer rebuilding
The latest setback - a 3-0 reverse at home to Annagh United on Friday night - leaves Wakehurst third from bottom of the table.
“We’re now into the second half of our campaign having played 14 of our 28 games and it will be about getting away from the lower reaches of the table and then rebuild in the summer,” said Gregg.

“The effort wasn’t in doubt but our decision-making was poor and we made too many basic mistakes.
“At this level of football there’s basic things you need to get right,” added Gregg.
The Ballymena men’s miserable night was compounded by the dismissal of substitute Conor Ross, who was sent off along with an opponent following a flare-up.
On the plus side, Wakehurst were finally able to hand a debut to January signing, striker Jordan Foster, who came on as a sub.
