Gibson off to compete in televised event
After a mixed 2009 season the ex-British and Irish Rallycross champion is hoping for a podium finish at the first round.
Lawrence told the Leader, “This year we are taking it one round at a time, I haven't decided if we will do the whole championship yet.

“We were supposed to be in France the week before last to compete in a rally but we had no spare engine which was a bit of a downer however we are hopefully ready now for Easter.
“My long term sponsor P&O Irish Sea are continuing their support for us this year and I will be trying for a good result at Lydden on Easter Monday.
“The event is going out live on Sky Motors TV on Easter Monday so it will be handy for everyone here to see how I am getting on.
“Then on April 25 we move up to Knockhill circuit in Scotland which should be a good track for the Metro so I need good results at both those events to set me up for the season.”
