William in ‘World’ of his own at Galgorm
After a couple of ‘dings’ at four and five he found himself two points behind Ossie Smyth (13) and John Rainey (10) at halfway.
Rainey moved into a one point lead after a par at 12 from Smyth and Crawford also with a par joining Smyth. Another par at the next saw Crawford take a one point lead over Smyth and Rainey who lost the lead with a bogey.

Hide AdThrough 16, a par from Crawford saw him with a one point advantage over Smyth (bogey). Rainey parred the penultimate hole to join Smyth (bogey) a point behind Crawford (bogey) to make for an exciting finish.
All three parred the 18th to leave Crawford the overall winner by two points with Smyth and Rainey finishing together and with a better back six, Smyth took the runners-up place with Rainey taking Division 1.

Twenty handicapper Roy McDowell led from halfway right up to the last hole when a double bogey cost him victory.

Hide AdAt the halfway point McDowell was three shots ahead of Philip Smyth (12) and another three shots ahead of Michael Barr (24).
McDowell opened up a four shot lead with a bogey to a triple bogey from Smyth which he held through 14.
Smyth with a birdie and a par over the following two holes closed the gap to two shots on McDowell (par, bogey).
McDowell finished double bogey, triple bogey which opened the way for Smyth who took advantage with a par, par finish to win by one shot. Barr upped his game and came with a late run over the closing three holes (par, par, bogey) to finish one shot behind McDowell. Barr won Division 4.
