“It was a great result for the team and fully deserved,” said Scott.
“It was a hard fought game throughout but I felt we controlled the midfield with Forgrave, Kennoway, Marks and Nicholl while Tommy Elder and McAllister up front were excellent.
“As were the back four and goalkeeper who were solid on the day. A great all round performance.

“This league is so tough this year it is unreal but wee Glebe Rangers will certainly be able to hold their own.”
Trevor Parkhill has been ruled out for a month with a groin strain sustained at training but the good news for Scott is that Owen Moody is said to be less than a fortnight away from fitness.
Meanwhile, Scott won the Merit Award at the North Antrim Sports Award on Saturday evening, and told Times Sport he was chuffed with the accolade.
