International flavour to workshop at Flowerfield

International artists Svetlana Orinko from New Zealand and Stephanie Birdsall from America will be conducting two workshops in Flowerfield Arts Centre, Portstewart, in June and July this year.

Stephanie will conduct a five day workshop entitled ‘Art on the Coast’ from June 22 to June 26.

The workshop will focus on still life painting and there will be one day plein air landscape/seascape painting on the Causeway Coast.

Svetlana has been at the forefront of the New Zealand art scene for over twenty years.

She was named New Zealand’s most innovative watercolour artist of 2014.

Svetlana, who emigrated to New Zealand in 1992, will conduct a three day workshop entitled ‘Painting Flowers in watercolour’ between July 1 and July 3.
