It’s the nickname, Mexican Joe, that’s now in song!
His latest offering is a single and for the first time in his recordings, he has finally got round to singing the song that gave him his nickname.
Joe explained: “I was a big fan of Jim Reeves and as a young boy couldn’t stop singing Jim’s song, ‘Mexican Joe’.

“I wasn’t that bothered by it but one record producer decided Mexican Joe would be a good name to be known by in the business and that’s what I have been known by ever since particularly since I had grown a moustache.”
The other track is called ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’ and mirrors Joe’s passion and support for Liverpool Football Club.
Joe has been in and out of the recording studios for years and his songs have always drawn praise.
