Warpaint are a poor man’s Goldfrapp
The second album from LA band Warpaint is a collection of ambient indie songs that fails to leave a lasting impression.
Like a poor man’s Goldfrapp, Bat For Lashes fallen on hard times, or Chvrches without the catchy hooks, Warpaint simply don’t have anything that makes you come back for more.
It’s background music at its finest with little chance this type of dreamy nonsense will distract you from the task at hand. For me, this is music for vegetarians. GC
