Magherafelt firm picks up award for excellence

Magherafelt-based construction firm Henry Brothers have successfully earned Business In The Community’s CORE Gold Status accreditation for excellence in corporate responsibility.

The CORE Standard submission and auditing process enables the company to map its entire corporate responsibility activity and benchmark it against other organisations which is all independently verified by an external assessor.

Henry Brothers CR Director Ian Henry said: “As one of the first companies to achieve CORE in 2014, the Standard has provided us with a baseline to develop and continuously improve our CR strategy, processes, measurement and reporting which has been hugely beneficial to our tendering processes.
