The principal of St Pius X College, Peter Friel, announced last night that some pupils have been asked to self-isolate following a positive case of coronavirus within the school community.

Mr Friel made the announcement on the school's Facebook page.

He said: "We have a confirmed case(s) of Covid-19 in our school community. Parents of Year 10 and 14 pupils must keep your child at home tomorrow and await further guidance.”
