Mid Ulster MP says 'concrete proposals' needed to address hospital pressure
The Mid Ulster MP said: "News that patients had to be treated in ambulances outside Antrim Area Hospital is very concerning.
"Since the closure of the emergency department at the Mid Ulster Hospital and its replacement with a minor injuries unit, people in Mid Ulster have relied on Antrim Area Hospital.

Hide Ad"Our health service and its workers are under intense pressure at present due to the COVID-19 pandemic and action is required to reduce that.
"We need to see the Health Minister coming forward with concrete proposals to the Executive to address the serious situation we are facing."
Mr Molloy added that all of us must do everything we can to help ease the pressure on the health service and its workers by following the public health guidelines.
