Calla them what you like: they are striking
The common grown Calla Lily normally flowers late spring to early summer, and grows 100cm–120cm high. Large white flowers die back in winter and return early spring.
This variety tends to withstand our climate better than the more modern varieties.

now using a good planting compost such as Westland Rose Tree & Shrub with a four-month feed. If planting in the border, mix in some grit or small stones
to improve drainage. The same applies to planting in a container.
Arum lillies will flower into the autumn.
Always keep your plants moist, but not waterlogged, feed every 10 days with a high potash feed such as Phostrogen or Tomato Food. Remove any dead flowers to keep the plant looking at its best and to stimulate the development of more flowers.
