The Coagh Community Crossroads Club is hosting a variety concert in the Tamlaght Parish Church hall on the 16th November starting at 8pm.
The event is one of a series of cross community events organised by local community groups in Coagh and funded by Cookstown District Council through the EU’s Programme for Peace and Reconciliation (PEACE III) which is managed by the Special EU Programmes Body. Admission is free and refreshments will be served.
The programme for all ages is hosted by Fred Faulkner and features Scottish dancing by Alison Davis & Kirsty McAllen, Irish Dancing with Marcella O’Hagan & Marie O’Hagan and the Bridge Singers. Special guests will include musical entertainment from
Donald Canavan and a cross community group of young people from the district.
Coagh Crossroads Club is a long established group of people from both communities who meet regularly to build friendships and to take part in a range of activities.
The event says it organisers, seeks to create an opportunity to bring people together for all ages and backgrounds for a night of entertainment.

The PEACE III Programme is worth €333 million and is aimed primarily at reinforcing progress towards a peaceful and stable society and promoting reconciliation.
It focuses on helping Northern Ireland and the Border Region of Ireland to reconcile communities and contribute towards a shared society.
