JDLC Summer Scheme

The scheme runs every weekday between July 18 and August 12. The fun starts at 10am until 12noon when there will be a break for lunch and will recommence at 12.45pm until 3pm. Certificates and badges will be on offer on completion of courses.

The children will also enjoy lunch in the supervised environment of the Conservatory Restaurant between 12noon and 12.45pm, which is included in the price of the Summer Scheme Membership. Not only does the Summer Scheme promise a jam-packed programme second to none, additional coaching courses are also on offer. These are affiliated with the scheme and are hosted in exclusive sporting locations throughout the borough.

Courses include Volleyball, Netball, Tennis, Hockey, Football, Arts and Crafts and Lifesaving, to name but a few, and are available in a variety of levels from beginners to advance. Prices, starting at £20.00.

The Senior Summer Scheme is for children aged eight to 12 years.

Please note: There are no daily admissions to the summer scheme and the membership is £35 per week including lunch.

Each child must be enrolled for one week. Numbers for the Senior Summer Scheme are limited to 100 children. This ensures a safe and enjoyable scheme for all.

For younger children there is a Junior Scheme for five to seven years, which is also £35 per week and is limited to one week per child depending on demand.

Numbers for this scheme are limited to 30 children. Lunch is also included in this price due to demand from parents.

Also don’t forget the leisure centre’s adventure soft play centre, Treasure Island where the junior scheme will have a morning session all to themselves. This area is a must for all children from toddlers up to of 12 years, offering some 54 different play items.
