Terex keeps Gary in its heart
Gary, who had worked for Terex for several years, sadly passed away back in 2014 at the young age of 35.
Gary’s former colleagues chose to support NICHS in his memory to make a difference to people living with chest, heart and stroke conditions in the Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon area.

Hide AdSteph Ellis, NICHS Corporate Fundraiser commented: “We are extremely grateful to be Terex Global Business Services’ chosen Charity of the Year. Over 80% of our work relies on donations from the public so on behalf of everyone at NICHS, I would like to wholeheartedly thank Terex and its employees for their support.”
Throughout 2018, Terex employees organised many fundraising events and through their hard work and commitment, the employees of the manufacturing company raised just over £4,000. Terex then generously matched the amount raised, bringing the final total to £8,074.
Steph added: “The money raised will be used to help fund our Post Rehabilitation Exercise Programme (PREP) which helps rebuild people’s lives and confidence following a stroke through exercise and education.
“There are approximately 3,728 stroke survivors living in the Armagh, Banbridge & Craigavon Council area so there is a very real need for this support.”
