The return of The Killers

one of the world’s greatest live bands, The Killers are back and have announced two Irish arena dates - The Odyssey Arena, Belfast on Thursday, February 21 and The O2 Dublin on Friday, February 22.

The story of The Killers’ first 10 years together - during which they went from Vegas bellhops to Glastonbury headliners, and amassing a collection of Brit, NME, MTV and ASCAP Awards that their collective mantlepiece now heaves under - is a tale of runaway success.

In February 2010, after a decade spent on the road and with the end of a mammoth 18 month world tour in sight, The Killers were at a crossroads. They had sold over 15 million copies of Hot Fuss, Sam’s Town and Day & Age, visited every corner of the globe, and become one of the world’s biggest rock ’n’ roll bands in the process, but they found themselves needing time to, as Brandon puts it, “put everything into perspective”.

Now they are back. The Killers’ new album Battle Born is out now and lead single Runaways is dominating Irish radio.

Tickets for The Odyssey cost £45 / £48 including booking fee, available from Ticketmaster outlets.
