Bro Coulter was a loyal member of the Loyal Institutions for over 50 years and received his 50 years Long Service Medal only recently from the Campsie Club.

A member of the Great James Street Presbyterian Church, when it closed Bro Coulter became a member of St Columb’s Cathedral, but he was also a great supporter of Campsie Road Presbyterian Church, and had a particular of the special services and festival events in Carlisle Road Presbyterian Church.

Although he never married, Bro Coulter was a devoted uncle to his nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and was very fond of his siblings and their families.

A pharmacist in Ballymoney for many years with the WHSSB, he was transferred to Londonderry and his first home in the city was in Lowry’s Lane on the Glen Road. He moved to Dacre Terrace before moving to his final home at Lincoln Courts.

Bro Coulter will be a big loss to the Brethren of the city of Londonderry and further afield.

Members of City of Londonderry Grand Orange Lodge extend sympathy to his family at this sad time.
