A Carrick resident has voiced concern over a trolley dumped on a stretch of beach at the seafront.

The pedestrian who was walking at Marine Highway with his daughter said that he was “quite annoyed” to make the discovery.

A length of railing was also spotted on the sand.

The man said: “Just ten minutes before seeing this, I watched seven young teenage girls walking over the Clipperstown bridge with an empty Tesco trolley while laughing and kidding around. “
