Awards for Giant’s Causeway

It has been a hugely successful week for the National Trust team at the Giant’s Causeway, picking up awards from three different awards ceremonies.

First up was recognition as the Best Visitor Attraction Gift Shop at The Greats retailer awards last week. The National Trust gift shop in the Giant’s Causeway Visitor Centre beat off stiff competition from leading attractions including the V&A, London; the Portcullis Gift Shop, Edinburgh and the Denby Gift Shop, to win the prestigious accolade.

Congratulations also go to Sean McLaughlin, general manager at the Causeway Hotel who was awarded Hotelier of the Year (small business) at the Janus Awards. The awards recognise the stars of Northern Ireland’s Hospitality and Tourism Industry and those who have made an outstanding contribution to the industry at home and enhanced its reputation abroad.
