Ballynure WI assist Women's Aid
THE September meeting of Ballynure WI began with President Lorraine Hume welcoming members back from their summer break.
The guest speaker was Fay Tilson from Women's Aid in Larne who highlighted many of the issues affecting women who find themselves in abusive relationships. A cheque for 400 was presented to Fay to help with the work of the organisation.
The Magazine Prize winner was Linda Dodds.
