Big prize money for the Donkey Derby

THERE is big prize money up for grabs at this year's Mid-Ulster Donkey Derby at Lurgan Rugby Club

After last year’s successful event the rugby club will again be hosting the even at the club grounds at Pollock Park on Saturday, August 21.

Racing gets underway at 1.30pm with the first heat.

To enter a donkey will cost 10 on the day - for more information please contact Jim Allen on 07887 988 155.

The prize money for the final will be as follows: 1st, 400; 2nd, 100; 3rd, 50.

Admission will cost 5 for adults with children under 16 free.

There will also be a fun fair on the day with plenty of stalls and amusements to keep the children entertained.
