Bushmills Distillery team show eco-spirit

Ably led by Ben Korpaczewski, Brand Home Associate, the team arrived with bin bags aplenty to add their own personal contribution to tackling the ever growing problem of beach pollution.

Coleraine Borough Council would like to commend Diageo’s Brand Home Team for their efforts in helping clean up the litter at Portballintrae Bay.

Members of the team also received a talk on the impacts of marine debris and beach litter from Council’s Environment Jim Allen prior to the event.

“I was delighted to support the Distillery staff” said Jim Allen “It is clear that they are a highly motivated group of people, many of whom live in and around the Bushmills and Portballintrae area and who clearly care about their beautiful surroundings and hate to see how it can be blighted by littering.

“It is heartening to see many local businesses like Diageo contributing to the environment in which they trade and allow their staff to get involved in activities like this.”
