Almost 300 new jobs are being created in Co Londonderry.
Texas-based internet company OneSource Virtual plans to open an office in Derry city creating 289 new posts.
Enterprise Minister Jonathan Bell said: “This is a major project for Londonderry.”
The firm, which has headquarters in Irving, Texas, specialises in human resources services.
Its new outsourcing centre is due to open in September and the jobs, which could have annual salaries topping £36,000, are expected to be filled by December 2017.
Mr Bell added: “The company undertook a rigorous evaluation of a number of locations looking at the availability of a skilled workforce, local higher education provision, quality of life and cost of living, as well as the financial business case. It was down to two locations and, with the support of Invest NI, Londonderry was chosen, securing this project for Northern Ireland.”
The company will have vacancies in deployment, application management and payroll services.
Invest Northern Ireland has contributed £2.9 million towards the new jobs and training.
OneSource Virtual co-founder and chief executive Brian Williams said he was excited about the move to Northern Ireland.
He said: “We have been very impressed by the opportunities we see in Londonderry and are looking forward to working closely with the business community and local colleges and universities to help develop our centre.”
Mayor of Derry City and Strabane District Council Elisha McCallion also welcomed the jobs boost.
She said: “This is the second major jobs investment announcement in two weeks for our city and region and I am delighted that the work going on behind the scenes with the various stakeholders to promote our city and region as a good place to do business is reaping its rewards.”
