CAP Life Skills service for Coleraine

Christians Against Poverty (CAP) new Life Skills has launched a new service that takes an in-depth and holistic approach to raising financial capability.

East Londonderry MP Gregory Campbell, who attended the launch of CAP Life Skills at Westminster, said it would further enhance the important role the charity plays in the community.

Mr Campbell said: “ I was pleased to attend the launch at Westminster of Christians Against Poverty’s (CAP) new service – CAP Life Skills. I am very well aware of how the local CAP office in Coleraine has helped numerous families with debt, having visited their premises some time ago.

“Building on CAP’s 20 years of experience helping tens of thousands find freedom from debt, the CAP Life Skills seeks to encourage health and wellbeing, demonstrating how members can maintain a healthy lifestyle even on a low income.”

“The course teaches practical skills and promotes behavioural awareness, improving budgeting and organisational skills. Alongside this CAP Life Skills groups seek to create a supportive environment and community amongst members.”
