Mid Ulster Sinn Féin councillors Joe O’Neill and Niamh Doris are calling for more to be done to help solve the issues of break-ins and thefts at the M1 facility.Councillor O’Neill said he has been contacted by workers that use the facility regularly and have had their vans broken into and expensive work tools stolen. He went on: “It’s a disgrace that when hard working people go out and do an honest day's work in order to provide for their families and then to think that these faceless criminals can take away their livelihoods its totally wrong and this can happen on a weekly basis. "So if it takes CCTV to stop this behaviour well so be it. Not only are these thugs getting away with this they are even leaving some of vans badly damaged and this is totally unacceptable and needs to stop immediately”.
