It all began in 1980 when Uel Wallace and son started a two-man taxi firm working from a house in Clonmeen.

In 1983 they were joined by Tommy Livingstone who opened up a base at the Legahory centre and called it Sun Taxis.

Tommy turned the firm into a successful, thriving business.

Present owner Dolan Wells bought the firm over in 2004 from Peader Murray and son.

Sun Taxis is now a well established firm serving all sides of the community.

He thanked all past and present drivers and customers for their support over the years and looks forward to a prosperous future.

The firm has just introduced new opening hours and now offer a 24 hour a day, seven day a week service so even the busiest/most anti-social schedules can be met.
