COALISLAND parishioners are asked to note that the starting time for Mass on Sunday in the Church of the Holy Family is to change from the Feast of Corpus Christi onwards, June 22.
From that date, the last Mass on Sundays will revert to its former starting time of 12 noon.
This change has been made following a consultation with Mass-goers, according to the weekly bulletin issued by the parish.
Recently, the decision was taken to rearrange Mass times due to a shortage of priests in the Coalisland and Stewartstown parishes.
In February, popular Stewartstown priest, Fr Aloysius McCourt passed away at his home, leaving a huge void among parishioners. His death also meant increased pressures on the local clergy to hold Masses according to their usual timetable, as well as carry out other duties.
