“However, after discussions with our new Environment and Properties Department within Mid Ulster District Council, I am pleased to say two new multipurpose litter bins have been installed.
“These bins have two purposes,” he added.
“To remove the dog foul from the streets and litter [and] I would urge all dog owners and walkers who don’t use these bins to use them.
“Coagh is a lovely village and leaving dog foul on the footpaths is dangerous to public health and downgrades the overall image of the village.
“These bins have been installed to serve a purpose so I would ask all dog owners to ‘Bag it Bin it’ [and] lets keep Coagh’s footpaths free of dog foul.”
