Cookstown man denies disorderly behaviour and resisting police after Molesworth Street incident

A number of public order charges relating to an alleged incident in the Molesworth Street area of Cookstown are to be contested, East Tyrone Magistrates Court has heard.

Colm Patrick Campbell (30) from Greenvale Drive, Cookstown is accused of using disorderly behaviour and resisting police on September 28.

A defence solicitor told the court his client is pleading not guilty to both charges District Judge John Meehan remanded Campbell £200 bail and ordered him to return to court on November 13 when a contest date is to be fixed.
