A CHARGE of unlawfully and maliciously causing grievous bodily harm is to proceed to Dungannon Crown Court.

Andrew Chesney (28) from Cedar Heights in Cookstown is accused of committing the offence against a male on January 18.

Police under oath confirmed the charge could be connected.

At a hearing before Dungannon Magistrates Court, District Judge John Meehan remanded Chesney on continuing bail and banned him from contacting any witnesses or entering the Brewery Lane area of Cookstown. The case is due back in court on June 13.
