Cookstown men charged with breaking into primary school

Two Cookstown men have appeared in court charged with burglary at Holy Trinity Primary School.

Jamie Luke Hamilton, 21, from Gortacar Road, and Denver McGurk, 26, from Castle Mews, are both alleged to have entered the school as a trespasser with the intent to steal on January 28.

They are also accused with breaking three windows on the building.

A constable from the PSNI told the court that he believed that he could connect the two defendants to the charges.

The case is adjourned until July 29.
