Crèche negotiations continue
EFFORTS are ongoing to reopen a crèche facility at Carrick's main leisure centre.
A private operator is currently being sought to provide the service in the Ludo play area at the Amphitheatre.
Negotiations with a number of potential providers were opened after council officers deemed that losses incurred during the in-house provision of a crche for a pilot period in the spring were unsustainable in the long term.
