Michael Anthony Donegan (36), of Drumleck Drive, pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of cannabis and simple possession of the class B drug between September and December 2013.

Defence solicitor Seamus Quigley said his client suffered a catastrophic injury and this left him unable to walk.

He said Donegan would use cannabis for ‘medicinal purposes’.
