Horse may have been stolen

POLICE in Cookstown are appealing for information following the suspected theft of a horse.

The horse was last seen in his field on the Dungannon Road, between the Volkswagen garage and Kingsbridge Service Station, in January. This field has been the horse’s home for about three or four years.

The male horse is described as being a chestnut brown colour with a small white patch on his head. He is approximately 16 years old, around 14’3” tall, and answers to the name of Captain. He is not microchipped and does not have a freeze mark.
