Masked men attack man in Rathcoole

Detectives are appealing for information following the report of an assault in the Camross Park area of Rathcoole yesterday (Friday, January 8).

A PSNI spokesperson said: “At approximately 8.30pm as a man was walking in the Camross Park area near Glas Na Braden Glen, he was assaulted by two men who were wearing balaclavas. One of the assailants had a hammer and the other had a metal bar.”

Anyone with information is asked to call officers on 101, quoting incident reference number 177108/01/21.
