Motoring ban for contractor

An electrical contractor has been fined £300 with a £15 offender levy and banned from driving for 12 months at the local Magistrates Court on Wednesday.

An electrical contractor has been fined £300 with a £15 offender levy and banned from driving for 12 months at the local Magistrates Court on Wednesday.

Patrick O’Neill (30), of Mullaghteige Road, Dungannon, admitted driving while having consumed excess alcohol at Derry Road, Coalisland, on March 3 .

Certifying him for drink-driving rehabilitation course, Deputy District Judge Laura Levers remarked that for a young man the defendant had two previous convictions which were not within the last ten years.
