Police appeal after hit and run
Police are appealing for information after a man was injured in a hit and run crash in Gilford.During the incident, an 18 year old male was hit by a van on Mill Street in Gilford.
Constable Colin Madine said: “Police received a report stating that, at approximately 1.45pm on Thursday, 20 August, as an 18 year old male was crossing Mill Street in Gilford he was hit by a van, which failed to stop at the scene.
“He sustained an injury to his foot.”
Constable Madine continued, “Police would appeal to the driver of the van or anyone who may have witnessed this incident to contact Police at Lurgan on the non-emergency number 101.”
