Police appeal after ‘unidentified female’ enters elderly Newtownabbey man’s home

Police are appealing for information concerning suspicious activity in the Laral Park area of Newtownabbey.

Detailing the incident, which occurred on Thursday, January 7, a PSNI spokesperson said: “An unidentified female is alleged to have entered the home of an elderly gentleman in the Laral Park area.

“The female has asked to use the gentleman’s bathroom and he has disturbed her looking through a bedroom cabinet before she made off. It is unknown if anything has been taken at this stage of our investigation.

“If you noticed any suspicious activity or vehicles in the area of Laral Park, Newtownabbey on Thursday, January 7 and are able to assist with our enquiries, please contact detectives at Antrim CID on 101, quoting reference number 832 08/01/2021.”
