'˜Shocked' motorist fined for insurance
A Cookstown motorist was fined a total of £265 with six points at Magherafelt Magistrates Court for having no insurance.
Gary Mark Shannon (20), of Morgans Hill Road, was stopped by police at Moneymore on September 27 last.
A lawyer said the defendant was “genuinely shocked”, as he believed he was insured.
